We were able to assist clients who are looking to purchase an investment property to use as part of their retirement plan, but had been turned down initially by other lenders as they only had access to a 15% deposit. We managed to secure a specialist lender who was willing to lend on the higher loan to value that they required and were able to then subsequently purchase the property. The property is now let on an assured shorthold tenancy with the client able to make over repayments each month, which means that they will pay the debt down sooner, saving on interest!
